Our florists

Jana and Lukáš

My name is Jana Slavíková and I was born a few years ago in Pilsen, Slavany. I was introduced to flowers at about the age of twelve by tying a large bouquet of flowers for my friend's mother's birthday. I learned at the flower shop Flora on Klatovská třída in Pilsen under the guidance of Maria Ryvolová and Milena Trepešová, who taught me many beautiful things.

I follow new trends and learn new things. I'm also happy when customers come back and I can discuss with them what colors they like, what occasions they wear them, etc. This is what I enjoy about working as a florist.

My name is Lukáš and I was born in Klatovy. I love good food and drink. And especially flowers. My favorites are the green marigold and the white amaryllis.
And how did I get into this profession? That's a long time ago. When I was arranging the decorations for my graduation ball, I went to a flower shop in Klatovy and the smell of fresh flowers enchanted me. After a year, I found an ad that they were looking for a florist for this flower shop, so I gave it a try. Word got around and I joined as a part-time worker. I also worked in other places until I got to Prague.  And now I'm here:  in Flowers at Jana and Lukáš. By the way: My favorite thing to do is to prepare flowers for weddings and Christmas decorations.

Hana and Leontýna

My name is Hana and I have been living in Pilsen for a few years. Two years ago, I came across an ad that Květiny u Jana and Lukáše were looking for reinforcements for the team, so I decided to try and luckily it worked out. In this profession, I enjoy working with flowers, making flower decorations, wreaths and flower boxes, which are my hobby.
I like challenges and anything that moves me forward in my work. In my free time, I draw and paint. The field I chose fulfills me in a way, because floristry definitely belongs to art.
I am glad that I can be a part of our great work team.
My name is Leontýna. I have been working as a florist for three years, and I actually got into it by accident. I was looking for a job after school that wouldn't be stereotypical and where I would be able to keep moving forward and learn new things.
I tried working as a florist as a part-time worker and fell in love with it. For me, tying flowers thus became a job and a hobby at the same time. I enjoy it the most when I know that I can make someone happy with a nice flower.
